I bought this mostly to measure temps when I was out hiking. It didn't tell the correct temperature, the time/date widely fluctuated and the compass was all over the place if you tapped the glass, never giving the same reading twice. I tried changing the battery and that didn't help. Since it was so cheap it wasn't worth the expense of sending it back but I wouldn't recommend anyone else wasting their money on it
